Knowledge Resource Management Service

This service includes the functionalities for storing and managing knowledge resources for plants, diseases, disease treatments, tribal vaidyas, patients, web sites, books etc. This service facilitates addition, modification and deletion of resources.

Users of CITTK can access the various resources which are contributed by other members. Members of CITTK can contribute to new resources, or they may edit the resources available.

Query Processing Service

Query Processing Service includes the services to query knowledge resources such as plants, diseases, disease treatments, tribal vaidyas, etc. It also provices services to query ontology and annotations.

    Ontology Management Service

    Tribal societies of our country use different languages, symbolism, rituals and religious prayers to describe concepts and their semantics. It would necessitate construction of ontology for each of them separately and synthesis of all of them to facilitate machine learning.

    The methodology supports cooperative building of ontology where-in experts may analyze the same or different information resources for a domain and sub-ontologies created by them are to be integrated after resolving the conflicts, if any.

    Annotation Management Service

    Annotations are meta-data about whole or part of a knowledge resource in the form of comments, notes, explanations, or other types of characterization. This module provides services to create (either manually or semi-automatically), update, store and share annotations.

    This service further includes services to create domain specific annotation types, to annotate knowledge resources including images, and query them. This service includes the creation of annotation either manually or semi-automatically.

    Social Network Management Service

    A social network is a social structure made of individuals (or organizations), which are tied by one or more specific types of interdependency, such as friendship, kinship, financial exchange, dislike, sexual relationships, or relationships of beliefs, knowledge or prestige.

    This service further includes services to invite people to join, adding to friends list, organizing the group etc.
